We created the Giant Rainbow Lantern for the Big West Festival 2011 Open Studios Program.  It was displayed at the Wyndham Cultural Centre during the Weerama Festival 2011. This particular Arts Access group  services artists with an intellectual disability. The rainbow design was by one of our artists, Kylie Lowrie. Kylie loves rainbows and they suits her personality well.

Jo Davidson my co lead artist for this group  has perfected the technique of working with cane and paper on a large scale. We have made a few structures  together now, with artists with a disability and in schools; I really enjoy this way of making structures. They are perfect for promenade performances or parades especially when lit from within.
