2015 Artist in Residence at Caulfield South Primary constructing an Octopus’s garden from concrete and a vertical garden of flowers made from recycled plastic bottles. The Octopus is play equipment with that is climbed on by the kids and plants grow between its tentacles.

2014 Puppet and Costume maker for a Day of the Dead Mariarchi band, ‘Skeleton Crew’ featuring giant skulls and Frida Kahlo puppet. The band has performed in a Cabaret produced by Strut and Fret in Kings Cross and at the Sydney Road Street Party.
2014 Artist in Residence at Caulfield Grammar. I taught prep to Grade 6 how to make shadow puppets and created 2 large metal laser cut designs of the students’ work.

2013 Puppet Maker and Puppeteer for Aria: A fiery blend of Opera and Puppetry curated by Black Hole Theatre. I created a performance to an Aria from the Opera ‘La Wally’ featuring miniature puppets.
2013 Performer and Maker for the Snuff Puppets ‘Wedhus Gembel’ show at Federation Square. The show was collaboration with 6 Indonesian Artists. I was lucky enough to be eaten by a giant monster and birthed as a baby monster every night of the season. A career highlight!

I created 3 enormous hanging cane structures with years 3-6. A 10-metre Mama dragon, a 4-metre baby dragon a 6-metre phoenix are now suspended in the atrium entrance of the School.
2013 2 public art commissions for Darebin City Council. I created a series of miniature paintings inside ‘periscopes’ for a toilet block in Thornbury and I painted a Corella theme on a steel outdoor ping pong table, climbing equipment, slides and a zebra (white feather) crossing for a Park in Bundoora.
2013 Arts and Cultural Development officer for Banyule City Council February-August. I instigated an arts in shopfront program, programmed for a major children’s festival and created satellite events for a new Contemporary Gallery.

2012 Director, St Martin’s Youth Arts Centre, I was selected to work with Ryan New for the Winter Residency to develop ‘Mr Wolf’ with the support of Arts Access for presentation and touring. We worked with actor Andreas Litras to refine and expand Ryan’s life story and his experience of autism.
2012 Puppeteer, the 4th National Puppetry & Animatronics Summit, VCA. I performed Adam’s Rib a piece I devised for the guests of the Summit in an adult cabaret.

2012 Artist in Residence City of Melbourne I worked with a group of International Students to make paper dresses that embody the stories of their experiences for the Lord Mayor’s International Student Welcome in March.
2011 Artist in Residence, Caulfied South Primary School, I produced 90 metres of fabric banners with students using batik, shibori and rice-paste to transform the school hall.
2011 Designer for State of Design during the Premiere fashion trade show at the Royal Exhibition Building. I made couture garments from paper in an open workshop during the event. The garments embraced sculpture and high fashion.

2011 Director and drama tutor for Fusion Theatre, a performing arts company for people with intellectual and physical disabilities.
2011-2012 Artist Facilitator and Coordinator for Arts Access teaching and coordinating a Visual and Performing arts respite program for adults with intellectual disabilities. We received a grant from Wyndham City Council to create large inflatable artworks after working with inflatable artist Mark Cuthbertson. We worked with the local kindergarten, special school and an adult day training centre. We also created a giant rainbow lantern for the Big West Festival in 2011.

Ryan New is a talented performer with Autism; this performance deals with Ryan’s unique way of navigating life. To Ryan autism is an experience, not a disability the show attempts to give the audience this experience. Mr Wolf is Ryan’s spirit guide who appears to him regularly.
2010 Artist in Residence Chiang Mai University Thailand, Director and Creative Producer of “E-bride, the business of love” an art performance on the theme of internet global matchmaking. This bilingual work engaged multiple artforms within the grounds of the university at 14 separate locations with a cast of 40 made up of students, community members and professionals both Thai and foreigners..

Ready To Wear Again Producer/Concept Developer at Melbourne Museum for the L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival. 10 designers created fashion from recycled garments in the front foyer of the Museum over 9 days. Dancers modelled the garments and the public was able to purchase garments from purpose built studios.

Sparks and sawdust flew as 20 designers created furniture from extremely desirable recycled materials for the public to purchase. A 3-day spectacle with extreme power tools and a Mongolian BBQ. Project Manager L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival Arts Program Co-ordinated over 65 exhibitions and events in galleries and sites around Melbourne. Entire program featured in The Age Saturday Extra.
Artist in Residence and Project Manager Worked with over 1000 students from 10 primary schools in the municipality creating site decoration for the City of Whittlesea Community Festival. I also coordinated this project.

Involved over 200 students as dancers, designers and photographers. The event was featured on the ABC and Channel 7 news.

Pre 1996 I worked, as an actor with the Woolly Jumpers and appeared as an actor in independent productions in Adelaide Fringe, La Mama and Theatreworks. I also toured Opera Houses in Australia and Holland as a puppeteer with the Australian Chamber Orchestra. I competed in Theatresports regularly during the 1980s appearing at The Playhouse and the State Theatre and my team was selected to compete in the National finals on an ABC series of Theatresports.

Skeleton Crew has been launched, I am working with a group of Melbourne's most talented musicians. Dave Evans on accordion, Dan Witton on Tuba, Nara Demasson on banjo and Adam Pierzchalski on trumpet. Derek Ives is our new maestro. of Long Pigs and Candy Butchers fame. I will be playing puppets. We are playing festivals, cabaret and making a Music/Theatre/Puppet show together. We will be filming a video clip in May!!!!
